EXPERIENCE

Ms. Hughes concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate and civil litigation. She also advises clients on a range of business matters. Prior to joining the firm in May 2025 Ms. Hughes represented insurance companies, businesses, and individuals in construction defect and general litigation matters through all stages of civil litigation, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.

Ms. Hughes earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Hawai'i, William S. Richardson School of Law in 2020. During law school, she contributed to legal research on renewable energy standards and provided legal assistance to community members through the Law School’s Elder Law & Veteran’s Clinic and Immigration & Refugee Law Clinic. Prior to attending law school Ms. Hughes completed an externship at the Hawaii Supreme Court with the Honorable Michael D. Wilson (retired).
