Case Lombardi & Pettit
has made significant contributions to the legal profession and
community.
Case Lombardi
& Pettit is the proud sponsor of the William S. Richardson
School of Law's Jurists-In-Residence Program. The Jurists-In-Residence
Program brings distinguished jurists to the William S. Richardson
School of Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa to meet with
students, faculty, the judiciary and the bar in a special educational
setting.
Initiated in 1987, the
Jurists-in-Residence Program enables local students and the community
to exchange ideas with the country's leading jurists. Past participants
include Associate Justices Antonin Scalia, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, John
Paul Stevens, Anthony M. Kennedy and Byron White.
The 2004
Jurists-in-Residence Program welcomed the return of United States
Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Senior Judge
Myron H. Bright, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Justice Ginsburg and Judge Bright engaged in a series of conversations,
lectures, and symposiums during the week-long event.
The Firm also supports
the University of Hawaii Law School by contributing to its Faculty
Excellence Fund. The Fund seeks to provide high quality legal education
for the law school students and to better serve our community.
