Mr. Wixom has concentrated his practice in real estate law since 1971, representing both domestic and foreign based clients.
Mr. Wixom's practice encompasses a wide variety of commercial transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, exchanges, management and service agreements, and development. He has represented land owners in long term ground lease negotiations pertaining to hotels, agricultural uses, industrial uses, long-term residential leases, condominium apartment leases and residential cooperative apartment leases. Clients include purchasers and sellers of major Hawaii properties, including hotels and resorts, as well as individuals and small companies.
Mr. Wixom has also represented domestic and foreign lenders in the negotiation and documentation of loans secured by real estate for acquisition, construction and working capital. Other clients include owners and developers of condominiums and cooperative housing projects in Hawaii.
Mr. Wixom lectures frequently in the area of real estate transactions, in particular on commercial and office leasing, including issues related to lending. Mr. Wixom has been in the private practice of law in Hawaii since 1967. |
